Committee Meeting Participants
Each WSTS Member Company has one official representative in the Committee, who is expected to participate in the Committee Meeting (Business Meeting) and to assume his/her voting rights in the Business Meeting on Tuesday morning. Any other employee of a WSTS Member Company is invited to participate in all parts of the Committee Meeting (Business Meeting and Forecast Meeting). Participation in the Forecast Meeting is subject to the submission of a premeeting forecast.
Furthermore the representatives of the sponsoring Semiconductor Industry Associations are invited to participate as observers. During your registration you will be required to declare in which role you will attend the meeting.
Certain detailed information such as the agenda, the list of participants etc. is only accessible to holders of WSTS user accounts and/or to registered participants. If you have registered but do not have a WSTS user account, you may login to this meeting web site (right upper corner) with your registration ID as user name and your last name as password.
Any non-member semiconductor company who has serious interest to join WSTS may send a participant to the Committee Meeting as observer. Such request is to be made to the WSTS Administrator .
Participation Fee and Hotel Cost
The applicable rates are summarized in the table below.
Please observe the following deadlines:
01 September 12 start of registration period.
17 September 12 last day to benefit from discounted participation fee.
12 October 12 last day to benefit from standard participation fee.
27 October 12 end of registration period.
Participants who booked at the discounted participation fee (before 17 September), but who change any details of their registration after 18 September will have to pay the regular participation fee. Minor changes (change of room type, addition of supplementary information) will however not cause a reassessment of the participation fee.

In case of cancellation of the registration in whole or in part WSTS will retain US$100 per day or US$430 for the entire meeting.
Participation fees include a daily buffet lunch, a morning and afternoon break with coffee, tea and other refreshments as well as a dinner on Tuesday and Thursday. All dinners are also available to accompanying spouses free of charge.
All room rates quoted below include tax, breakfast and service fee. Please observe the cancellation policy of the hotel:
For cancellations received one day prior to the day of arrival the hotel is entitled to charge 80% of a daily room rate. For cancellations received on the day of arrival and no shows, the hotel is entitled to charge one night.

The special rate is available three days pre and three days post the meeting based upon availability. WiFi Internet access is available on a complimentary basis in the meeting facilities and guest rooms.
Meeting Registration and Hotel Reservation
The registration period has ended.
If you have any changes in your travel plans after the registration period has ended, contact the hotel directly to change your room reservation.

Planning Your Participation
If you participate in the meeting, a number of critical deadlines need to be observed. The planning calendar may be downloaded from the link at the bottom of this column or click here .
Contact the Vice Chairman of your region if you are willing to make a presentation or lead a session at the meeting.

Travel and Transfer
Most participants from abroad will travel by air and arrive at (Osaka) Kansai International Airport KIX. Transfer to the hotel either by shuttle via San-Nomiya Station (1) or by shared taxi (2):
- 1) by Limousine Bus form Kansai Airport to San-Nomiya Staion (approximately 65 minutes) and
- 1a) by Hotel shuttle from San-Nomiya Station to Portopia hotel (free of charge, 15 minutes) or
- 1b) by Taxi (1500JPY, 10 minutes). Total travel time 1) + 1a) or 1b): approximately 80 minutes.
- 2) by shared taxi called "MK sky gate shuttle" from Kansai Airport direct to Portopia hotel (2300JPY, 70-80 minutes)
